Domestic Violence Assistance has been in operation for 5 years and has been able to help 225 victims and their 425 children all through donations.

South Carolina is ranked #2 in the nation for the number of deaths which involve men killing women

There were 38 women killed due to domestic violence in 2011. 17 of those were from Greenville County

South Carolina had 4,382 women and children living in domestic violence shelters

South Carolina had 28,507 clients who didn’t stay in the shelters

85% of women with disabilities are victims of domestic abuse
